Sage No More Searches For An Epic Inspiration
Today’s story is about a group of CarbonPatchKids called Sage No More.
Sage No More was a rock-and-roll band who spent their days practicing and writing music. They were a talented group of CarbonPatchKids, but no matter how hard they worked, Sage No More just couldn't find the inspiration for their next big hit song.
“I like what we have so far, but there’s no land of sunshine or cuckoo for caca in this music if ya know what I mean,” Sage No More member Mike Planton said.
“I feel ya, let’s go on a little tour and engage with some of the other CarbonPatchKids,” Sage No More member Chuck Mossley said.
Uninspired and determined, Sage No More decided to take a tour around the CarbonPatch to open up their world to new inspiration and ideas.
Their first stop was at Mean Joe Green Bean’s row. Mean Joe Green Bean was playing catch with Homer J Sunflower, so this CarbonPatchKid wasn’t paying attention to Sage No More’s music.
“I’m not saying things are falling to pieces, but Mean Joe Green Bean didn’t even flinch when we went total zombie eater on the keyboards and drums,” Radish Bottum said. “Mean Joe Green Bean is normally the first one to rush the stage.”
“Right now a small victory would be sunny side up,” Sage No More member Billy Gourde said. “Let’s go see if there’s some inspiration over at RoseMary-Louis Parker row.”
But RoseMary-Louis Parker was gone. She was at the Madison Raised Garden with Kale and the Gang celebrating good times. RoseMary-Louis Parker recently opened a Chilled Compost Cream shop and it was going loco.
As Sage No More traveled from row to row searching for inspiration, they encountered many other CarbonPatchKids, all who welcomed them with open leaves.
Sage No More was inspired by the unique beauty of their new friends, and they sang their songs together, sharing the joy of music.
But they still felt like something was missing with their music.
Sage No More continued on their journey, and eventually they arrived at a special fountain from The Industrial Forest, which helps provide the CarbonPatch with water.
From out of nowhere, a large goldfish jumped out of the water and began flipping and flopping right in front of Sage No More.
“Guys check it out, it’s a fish out of the water,” Mike Planton said.
They had never seen a fish out of water before, and they were captivated.
“We have to help this poor fish get back in the water,” Chuck Mossley said. “It’s superhero time fellow CarbonPatchKids!”
Sage No More joined together and picked up the fish out of water and were able to get the fish back to it’s water filled home.
“Thank you Sage No More,” the fish said as he started to swim away. “Your act of kindness is evidence that you care a lot.
With newfound inspiration, Sage No More returned to their practice space and began to write.
The next day, Sage No More debuted their new epic song, called "We Plant A Lot".
The song was an instant hit, and it quickly spread across the CarbonPatch.
All CarbonPatchKids who heard it were filled with joy, and they sang the song together, celebrating the power of music.
Some even danced like a fish out of water.
Sage No More continued to make music and tour around the CarbonPatch looking for new inspiration for hit songs.
They never forgot the goldfish that inspired them, and they wrote many songs about the power of companions and the beauty of nature.
