Mr. Fiji and Don the Rocko Help an Uprooted Garlic Garea
Today's story is about a Carbon Patch Kid named Mr. Fiji who came to the Carbon Patch from a Mighty Wind. Mr. Fiji started his journey being tossed out of a vehicle and left alone on the road.
Mr. Fiji was only on the side of the road for a short time as the wind lifted his plastic outer shell across the street and into a tall grassy field in the countryside.
Mr. Fiji was damaged and could not move on his own. He spent his days watching the beauty of the world around him, taking in the fresh air, and enjoying the warmth of the sun.
One day a Mighty Wind came blowing and lifted Mr. Fiji into the air and into The Industrial Forest. A Mighty Wind blew Mr. Fiji around a little bit more until he ran into Don the Rocko.
"Mr. Fiji, am I glad you are here," Don the Rocko said. "Garlic Garea needs help, he's been uprooted, and I don't know what to do."
Don the Rocko then noticed Mr. Fiji was damaged from his unexpected road trip and spoke. "Oh no you can't move, now I am really confused and feel helpless."
"Relax magnificent one, you are the one who can be the most helpful" Mr. Fiji said. "I will guide with my mind and then with your mind and strength, we will solve this problem. Together."
Don the Rocko went over to the grass and there was a young uprooted Carbon Patch Kid, Garlic Garea.
The little Carbon Patch Kid was scared and afraid of the new emotional feelings and stress from being uprooted.
Don the Rocko was absolutely magnificent as he picked up Garlic Garea and brought him over to Mr. Fiji.
"What next Mr. Fiji?" Don the Rocko asked.
"Take off my hat and fill me up with water," Mr. Fiji said. "Water is the giver of life and it will help Garlic Garea find his roots."
Don the Rocko took of Mr. Fiji's hat and filled up his body with water.
"What next Mr. Fiji," Don the Rocko asked.
"Flip my hat upside down and place Garlic Garea in the hat," Mr. Fiji said.
"What?" Don the Rocko said.
"If you trust what Mr. Fiji is saying than use your mind to tell your body to do something outside your comfort zone," Mr. Fiji said. "If not, our journey will be over. Don the Rocko you have the power and the mind to see what the right thing is to do."
Don the Rocko looked at Garlic Garea and the pain on his clove from being uprooted. Then he looked at a hatless Mr. Fiji filled with water. Don the Rocko's mind took over from there and showed him how his actions would solve the problems.
Don the Rocko flipped the hat upside down and placed an uprooted Garlic Garea in the care of Mr. Fiji.
Mr. Fiji was overcome with a feeling of compassion, and he knew he had to do something to help Garlic Garea. He began to say encouraging words and share stories from adventures afar.
As Mr. Fiji worked to restore Garlic Garea back to health, he noticed that the plant was beginning to respond to his attentions. Gradually, the leaves began to take on a more vibrant green color and Garlic Garea's roots slowly began to grow stronger once again.
Encouraged by the progress, Mr. Fiji continued to tend to the plant, and before long, Garlic Garea was standing tall and proud. But Mr. Fiji knew that Garlic Garea still needed help if it was going to reach its full potential.
Mr. Fiji decided to stay with Garlic Garea, coaching and managing him to ensure that he was able to reach his full potential.
Mr. Fiji taught Garlic Garea to take in more nutrients and to open its mind to let in more ideas of enlightenment. He also showed Garlic Garea how to take advantage of the rain that fell and to use the moisture to help it grow.
"Remember Garlic Garea, water is the bringer of life," Mr. Fiji said. "But too much and it can become the destroyer. Respect the power of water."
Under Mr. Fiji's guidance, Garlic Garea began to grow and flourish. Garlic Garea was able to find its roots and strength once again and soon, it was able to leave the guidace of Mr. Fiji.
"Thank you for all your help Mr. Fiji," Garlic Garea said. "Bean Ho and I are going to go to Madison Raised Garden and see if we can hook up with the Grand Watermelon."
"Ah Garlic Garea, travel safe and say hello to the Grand Watermelon,” Mr. Fiji said. “Please tell him Mr. Fiji will be here in the Carbon Patch with Don the Rocko and Professor Tatsoi Tanaka.”
With the managerial help of Mr. Fiji and strength of Don the Rocko, Garlic Garea was able to have a second chance in life and was very grateful.
“Thank you, Master Fiji your knowledge will forever be felt from my leaves to my roots,” Garlic Garea said. “And Don the Rocko, you truly are magnificent.”
Mr. Fiji and Don the Rocko were proud of their accomplishment and teamwork. They were also thankful for the opportunity to help Garlic Garea reach its full potential.
“I feel joy and bliss from helping others,” Don the Rocko said. “I learned to trust today too.”
“Very good Don the Rocko, helping others helps you too,” Mr. Fiji said. “Remember every time you help someone find their roots, you also help yourself grow yours.”
