Homer J. Sunflower, Lemmy and Kale Hang Out at the Local Water Hole
Today’s story is about a Carbon Patch Kid named Homer J. Sunflower who lived in a Carbon Patch called Evergreen Tree Terrace.
On the other side of the Carbon Patch was Flamin' Grows, the local water hole that some of the Carbon Patch Kids would hang out at.
Homer J. Sunflower was a very curious and jovial Carbon Patch Kid, always eager to try new things and explore new places.
Homer J Sunflower was very animated.
One day, Homer J Sunflower decided to take a head down to the water hole Flamin’ Grows with his two companions, Lemmy and Kale.
They had heard about the place from some other Carbon Patch Kids and thought it sounded like a great place to explore.
As they arrived at the water hole, they immediately noticed the large stones surrounding the area.
The stones were all unique shapes and sizes and Homer J Sunflower couldn't help but be fascinated. Lemmy and Kale asked Homer J Sunflower if he knew anything about the stones.
“What do they do?” Lemmy asked Homer J. Sunflower.
“What don't they do? They do so many things, they never stop. Oh, the things they do there, my stars!” Homer J. Sunflower said.
“You don't know what they do, do you, Homer J. Sunflower,” Kale asked.
“Not as such, no,” Homer J. Sunflower said as he lowered his sunhead down.
Homer J Sunflower then decided to ask the water tender Moe Sleestack.
To Homer J Sunflower’s surprise, Moe Sleestack was more than happy to explain. He told the trio that the stones were used to trim the grass that grew around the area.
“Ah they are stone cutters,” the three said together as they began to understand how it works.
Moe Sleestack then showed them how to use the stones to trim the grass and even gave them a few stones to take home with them.
“Thanks Moe Sleestack,” Homer J. Sunflower said. “See you tomorrow.”
The three returned back to their home rows and Homer J Sunflower couldn't stop talking about his new found stone cutter knowledge.
Homer J Sunflower was so excited that he spent the rest of the afternoon practicing how to trim grass with the stones. He tried different techniques and even got quite good at it.
The next day, Homer J Sunflower, Lemmy and Kale went back to Flamin' Grows to show off their stone cutter skills. Everyone was impressed with their newfound knowledge and their ability to trim grass with stones.
“Hey Homey,” Moe Sleestack said. “You’re getting pretty good at that, you keep it up and you’ll be known as a Stone Cutter.”
Moe Sleestack explained that the Stone Cutters were a very special group of Carbon Patch Kids who know how to use the special powers of the stones for helping heal the planet.
Homer J Sunflower, Lemmy and Kale continued to hang out at the local water hole and became very talented at being stone cutters. All the Carbon Patch Kids were amazed and soon word spread about their amazing talents.
Homer J. Sunflower, Lemmy and Kale were soon known as one of the Stone Cutters at Flamin' Grows.
All the Carbon Patch Kids wanted Homer J Sunflower, Lemmy and Kale to trim their grass and inspire them with their special Stone Cutter powers.
Homer J Sunflower, Lemmy and Kale continued to frequent their favorite water hole Flamin' Grows and are forever grateful for the generosity and guidance from Moe Sleestack.
