Cat Grass Fever Finds Upcycled Opportunity
From time to time animals from outside the Carbon Patch will stop by and visit. Today’s story is about a curious and playful cat named Cat Grass Fever.
The name was a perfect fit because this kitty loves all kinds of cat grass. Whether it’s Oatgrass or Barleygrass or Ryegrass, it’s almost like it has a stranglehold over Cat Grass Fever.
Guess what? This cat has a fever and the only cure is more cat grass because it’s just what the doctor ordered.
Cat Grass Fever loved exploring the Carbon Patch near his home in search of different kinds of cat grass and often found interesting things along the way.
One day, while wandering around the Carbon Patch, Cat Grass Fever stumbled upon a guitar that was partially submerged in mud covered with leaves and branches.
Cat Grass Fever felt a special connection to the guitar after picking up, cleaning it off a bit and hearing the sound it made.
“Wango Tango, this ax can grind!” Cat Grass Fever shouted in harmony with the music. “I can not wait until I can show Fred Bear and the Snakeskin Cowboys this guitar.”
Cat Grass Fever started to practice and play the guitar every day. He was determined to learn how to play a few songs all his companions knew and a couple original ones of his own.
“Hey there everybody let’s mow-tivated, grab your sungrasses and dance dance dance,” Cat Grass Fever sang. “Let’s all dance the Lawn Meower.”
Cat Grass Fever spent hours each day practicing and perfecting his skills.
After days of practice, Cat Grass Fever started to really get the hang of it. It was a real natural flow of energy.
Cat Grass Fever's guitar skills kept improving and he was able to play beautiful music.
As time went on, Cat Grass Fever noticed some of the Carbon Patch Kids started to come around to listen. They were all amazed at Cat Grass Fever’s talent and enjoyed the music he was making.
One day, one of Cat Grass Fever's biggest fans suggested they throw a concert for him. All the other Carbon Patch Kids agreed with Sage No More and started to prepare for the show.
Sage No More and the other Carbon Patch Kids helped get the stage ready for the big concert. They scrounged up decorations, lights, and even some accompanying instruments for the show.
They worked together to make sure the show would be a success.
The big night finally arrived and Cat Grass Fever was ready. He had practiced for a whole month and was prepared to perform a 30 minute show. This was more than any old gravy fig.
Everybody from the Carbon Patch showed up to support Cat Grass Fever and his on-stage live music debut.
Even the Snakeskin Cowboys and Fred Bear showed up to watch Cat Grass Fever perform. They even brought their good friend the Great White Buffalo.
The Great White Buffalo goes absolutely gonzo for live music.
Cat Grass Fever took the stage and channeled his positive energy into that once discarded guitar and it produced one unbelievable musical moment of upcycled opportunity.
The crowd was in awe as Cat Grass Fever played his guitar and sang a variety of beautiful and rocking songs. He was so talented and the Carbon Patch Kids were very proud of him for his courage and fearless presence on stage.
When the show was over, all the Carbon Patch Kids and special guests gathered around Cat Grass Fever and cheered.
In fact, the Carbon Patch Kids were having so much fun it was the Land of a 1000 Dances and almost Free-For-All. The music was moving the Carbon Patch kids for sure.
Cat Grass Fever was so happy and thanked all the Carbon Patch Kids for their hard work and support.
“Tonight was a team effort,” Cat Grass Fever said. “Tonight is a night I will remember forever. Thank you Carbon Patch Kids for believing in me, my special gift and this upcycled guitar! Good night Carbon Patch!”
It was an extraordinary night and all the Carbon Patch Kids had a wonderful time.
At the end of the evening, Cat Grass Fever realized that finding his passion, having the support of others, and loving music made this special moment possible. He was so thankful for his companions and the opportunity to share his talent with them.
From that day on, Cat Grass Fever was a changed cat. He was more confident and sure of himself.
Cat Grass Fever was so proud of what he had accomplished with a guitar that was once trash stuck in the mud and became an upcycled musical treasure.
Cat Grass Fever’s story is a reminder to all of us that with the support of your companions and a lot of hard work, we can all achieve our dreams.
